A Special Mother's Day Gift
So I’m making good use of this rainy day to catch up on some much overdue blogging, and what better way to brighten things up than with these two cuties? Ashlin and Connor’s grandmother actually set up this photo shoot as a Mother’s Day gift for their mom which I think is such a fabulous idea. So if there's any Dad's out there reading this, take note for next year! I mean seriously, what mom doesn’t want to be surprised with photos of their cute little kiddos on Mother's Day? The tricky part is getting them to keep the secret!
Don't get me wrong, I think props are great and everything, but I just love when clients bring items from home that have real sentimental value. I think I speak for so many moms out there when I say these are some of the moments we cherish most…when they're completely content with their favorite toy/object of the moment. We hold on tight to images like these because we know quite well that soon they'll be moving on to something new. Why must they grow up so fast?
